What Is MTO?

MTO has CAS number 8052-41-3. It is a clear petroleum-distillate solvent with moderate evaporation and good solvency for oils, alkyd resins, and waxes. Grades vary in aromatic content and flash point, so specify the grade required for your application.

Paints and enamels: A thinner and reducer for oil-based and alkyd systems.
