Di Methyl Formamide (DMF)

DMF stands for Dimethylformamide, also written N,N-Dimethylformamide. "Di Methyl Formamide" written as three words is the same substance, CAS 68-12-2. The same abbreviation is used elsewhere for unrelated items such as Dimethyl Fumarate and Drug Master File, so confirm the CAS number when enquiring.

DMF is a polar process and reaction solvent. DMF is a combustible liquid classified UN 2265, Class 3.
