Anionic surfactant base

The primary cleaning actives. Acid slurry (LABSA) is neutralised with caustic soda or soda ash into the surfactant salt behind powders, cakes and liquids; LAB is the detergent alkylate feedstock for sulphonation lines; SLES, SLS and AOS are ready-to-formulate anionic surfactants.

Builders, alkalis & sequestrants

Builders sequester the calcium and magnesium hardness ions that would otherwise deactivate the surfactant. Caustic soda doubles as the neutralising alkali for acid slurry.

Foam boosters & co-surfactants

Secondary surfactants that boost and stabilise foam and round out the surfactant system — coconut-derived amides and betaine alongside a non-ionic ethoxylate.

Thickeners & specialty additives

Finish and viscosity. Acid Thickener builds viscosity in low-pH toilet and bathroom cleaners where ordinary thickeners fail; GMS is insoluble in water but forms emulsions — that is what makes it the emulsifier on this slate.

What is the active matter of your acid slurry (LABSA)?

Our acid slurry is LABSA at 90.0 ± 1.0% active matter by mass (CAS 27176-87-0) — a viscous transparent brown liquid with free oil 2.0% max and free sulphuric acid 1.5% max. It ships in drums and bulk road tanker as UN 2586, Class 8 corrosive.

Do you supply Godrej surfactant grades?

Yes. We stock Godrej Industries grades across the slate: Ginopol 24P SLS powder (95.00% min active matter), Ginamide B cocamidopropyl betaine (29.0% min active betaine), Ginamide CDEA coco diethanolamide (85% min total active matter) and Ginamide AI CMEA flakes (80.0% min amide). Our AOS liquid/paste is supplied to the Godrej Alfodet published specification.

Which packaging sizes do detergent raw materials come in?

Packaging follows the product: 20 kg PP bags for SLS powder; 25–50 kg bags for STPP, SHMP, caustic soda and CMEA; 45–50 kg carboys for acid thickener and CAPB; 50 kg and 230 kg HDPE drums for AOS, 230 kg HDPE drums for CDEA, and drums (liquid and paste) for SLES; and drums or bulk road tanker for acid slurry and LAB.

What do STPP and SHMP do in a detergent formulation?

Both are phosphate builders. They sequester the calcium and magnesium hardness ions in wash water so the anionic surfactant stays active. We stock Technical Grade STPP (94.0% mass min as Na5P3O10) and SHMP (total phosphate as P2O5 68.0% mass min), each in 50 kg HDPE/laminated bags.
